May 2026

It's definitely not been an easy month, but God brought me through each day.
His mercies are new every morning and God is good no matter what.
May 1 - Mary Ann took Renee and me out to eat at Cafe75 for supper.
May 3 - I joined the Herrings for Sunday dinner.
It's special to get to play music with Madi occasionally.
One evening I got to hang out with my friends Zak and Kati.
A lunch break walk and CFA shake with sweet Stormi.
My friend and coworker Allison came over for supper and visiting one evening.
One evening as I was leaving work, this was the stormy sky...
It rained really hard then I saw the sun come out and went to check the opposite side of my apt building for a rainbow! Sure enough, there was one!
Seeing rainbows always reminds me that God always keeps His promises.
Then we had a gorgeous sunset later that evening!
A Saturday morning at CFA, ready to have a busy day!
Beautiful flowers at Chick-fil-A.
Mother's Day Sunday - I joined the Herring family for the day.
Sunday dinner up in Independence, KY with the Herring's extended family. This was my 3rd year to join this family for Mother's Day. It definitely helped to be with them instead of alone this year.
Playing music with Sis. Goins and Madi.
So fun being out in the country - oh look, there's an owl!
Making wildflower bouquets with Maisy and Morgan.
One evening after work, a few of us coworkers had a packing party to help out sweet Corina.

Sweet Corina's last day at Happy Hands, later in the month. We're going to miss her so much!
Fun Run day at Happy Hands! Matching with my coworker Teresa.

Run, run, run! Celebrating the children we serve!
I made chocolate oatmeal cookies one evening.
First zuchinni soup of the season! Yum, yum!
Pretty flowers in a friend's yard.
Brittany Stacey, a dear friend who used to live in Tulsa and work at Happy Hands, made a quick visit and it was so good to see her again!

Spring Program day - this year has gone by so quickly!
A beautiful sunset I saw on my drive home one evening.
Matching with sweet Melinda on a hot, humid day.
Flowers from students' parents during Teacher Appreciation week, in a special vase from the funeral.
On a bikeride one evening I found beautiful lilies in bloom!
Another bikeride one evening...
...and I found these beautiful lilies!
Memorial Day my friend Shelly and I met for coffee and catching up.

Then I went to Ochelata for my friend Madi's graduation party.
So good to see dear friends there! -Adrian-
- Alexa and Ashlynn and a new friend -
- Crystal -
Madi with my gift to her, an afghan I crocheted.
May 28 - my friends the Stubbs had me over for supper and catching up! They are so kind and genuine; it's always a blessing to be with them. It was also fun to help them with some yard work.
That about sums up my May here in OK!
