Pictures of Our Lives Recently

A close-up of a baby rabbit that was born under our blue-spruce tree.

Mother got a wig, that she styled to look like her hair as much as possible. She's going to start chemo on June 6th, Monday.

These are pictures I took, and worked on in Photoshop. I love doing this type of thing.

He Didn't Throw the Clay Away

Empty And Broken, I Came Back To Him
A Vessel Unworthy, So Scarred From Sin.
But He Did Not Despair... He Started Over Again
And I Bless The Day, He Didn't Throw The Clay Away.

Over And Over, He Molds Me And Makes Me,
Into His Likeness, He Fashions The Clay.
A Vessel Of Honor, I Am Today,
All Because Jesus Didn't Throw The Clay Away

He Is The Potter... I Am The Clay
And Molded In His Image, He Wants Me To Stay.
Oh, But When I Stumble...
When I Fall... When My Vessel Breaks,
He Just Picks Up Those Pieces,
He Does Not Throw The Clay Away...

Over And Over, He Molds Me And Makes Me,
Into His Likeness, He Fashions The Clay.
A Vessel Of Honor, I Am Today,
All Because Jesus Didn't Throw The Clay Away.

A Vessel Of Honor, I Am Today,
It's All Because Jesus Didn't Throw The Clay Away.

I love the words of this song and thought they might be an encouragement to you all as they were to me.

This and that....

~A lot is happening, and yes, I'm still alive, just very busy.
We are getting ready for 70 some people to come for my siblings', Beth and Jason's, graduation party tomorrow evening. So we are really busy with all the preparation. Graduation is tonight.
We are hoping it will quit raining for that so we can have the graduation party outdoors. Yesterday and today it has kept up a nice, steady rain, non stop, so we have 2.5 in. of rain now. We are thankful for the rain, but why couldn't it have come another week?
Update on Mother:
She is doing well, and doing small things around the house, as much as her family will let her get by with. But her drainage tubes are really bothering her, and so that brings her much pain. She is hoping to get the tubes and stitches out within the next week. She will be meeting with the oncology doctor on the 19th of May, so we can see what the next treatment is and get started as soon as possible.
That about sums it up. Praying for each one of you.~

Hospital and flower pictures

Mother's surgery was the 28th of April and it went very well. She stayed in the hospital over night, then came home. We are positive that she will have to have chemo. Even though the surgery took most of the cancer, they found some in her lymph nodes too. So, for now, she is just healing up from the surgery.
