November 2015

November started with a nice walk around our Johnstown lake on a Sunday evening.
My sweet friend Joanna and me
Daddy and Mother with the mountains behind them.

A milkweed plant growing beside the lake
Beautiful fall colors!
Long shadows
Another day that week I got this pretty picture of the mountains.
I enjoy baking bread for our family about every other week.
My brother's family came up one evening for supper and games.
Grandma playing with Jonathan and Jewelyn
Jewelyn riding Grandma's "horsie"! :)
One day Joanna and I spotted a squirrel up in the trees in our backyard, eating the little berries off the tree.
We also noticed a little bunny in our front yard, and enjoyed slowly getting close to get pictures.
So pretty and soft looking!
On the first Saturday of Nov., we enjoyed going on another fall walk.
Daddy, Mother, Elizabeth, and Joanna walking

Sunday evenings are sometimes used for playing music with my sister.
A picture of the mountains from where we clean. Sorry if you get tired of all the mountain pictures I put on. I'm a Colorado girl and I love the mountain view! :)
A miniature snowman that I made with a leaf trying to be its hat.
My sign-language teacher and I one Wednesday afternoon. I appreciate all that she has taught me in over a year of meeting with her weekly. SL lessons have been a big blessing in my life!
My sister Elizabeth went on a little trip to Indiana to visit a friend, so we got to make a couple airport trips. The picture below shows the new hotel in front of the airport.

Me trying to work a robot at a field trip one day
Fall cleanup time!
We got our Christmas lights put up too.
Work on our church in Denver has continued! We have a new ramp and front walk now! It is so nice, especially for the blind man that comes to our church most Sundays.
Grandma and Jewelyn
Two little monkeys nephews I found up in a tree!
Waiting to pick up Elizabeth at the airport.
Some pretty mountains again... :)
Another evening when Randy's family came for supper and a visit. The kids usually bring their pajamas to change into before they leave near bedtime. Here's Grandma reading to Jonathan and Jewelyn.
Exploring-little-Jewelyn!
We ladies enjoyed some time singing together around the piano.
On a Friday night we went to the Wycliffe Banquet in Ft. Collins. Here is a picture of us and our friends, the Browns, before most of the people got there.
After everyone got there.
Joanna and I in our matching sweaters!
Some little Christmas decorations in my bedroom

THANKSGIVING Day! We worked on food in the morning and started on a puzzle while we waited for our guests to arrive.
Our first guests arrived -- Harold and Laurie Ryterski -- friends from here in town.
Our table ready for us to sit down to eat! I didn't get a picture while we were eating.
In the afternoon, there was a mixture of games, visiting, and playing cars and legos with the kids.
 Aunt Elizabeth and Jonathan
Jonathan and I playing a bean-bag catch game.
Mother and Joanna after they got the puzzle done!
My oldest nephew Quil after he made a train display~ My dad, Randy, Quil, and Micah got to go to the Ryterski's for awhile to see Harold's amazing electric train model display, so after they got back, the boys went to work making their own creation of a train display.
The last Saturday of the month I enjoyed going to Operation Christmas Child Processing Center in Denver with some friends from Wyoming. we worked for ~5 hours, and had a really good work time there.
My dear friend Ivanna and I enjoyed working together, and enjoyed matching each other too! :)
Today I enjoyed reading to my nephews, Quil, Micah, and Jonathan, after dinner time.
I don't have a picture about it, but on November 20th, I passed my driver-road-test and got my license! I thank the Lord for helping me to pass without any problems this time.
It has been a very nice November!  I am so blessed and very thankful for God's blessings in my life!
