May started with Joanna and I visiting the Lucas family in Colorado Springs, for Carrie's 16th birthday.
This is some of my finished photography-card products that I hope to sell at the CHEC (Christian Home Educators of Colorado) conference in Denver on June 18th-20th. CHEC has a small section in the booth area for homeschooling teenage entrepreneurs to sell the things they create. :)

Several days lately, the Brown kids have been spending time with us since they are off school now. ~Mother helping Lincoln make a blanket~

For a couple weeks, we had some baby robins nesting in our spruce tree! It was so fun to watch their progress each day. This picture was taken just a couple days before they left the nest.
From May 13th - May 20th, we traveled to Iowa to visit our friends the M's, then on to Ohio for my brother, Jeffrey's, graduation from college, and then back to Iowa, then Colorado. The whole trip went very well and we are so glad that we got to go!
We traveled in 2 vehicles to Ohio so we could leave 1 van with Jeffrey for the summer. Daddy and Mother went in one, and they trusted Elizabeth and I and Joanna, who got to go with us on the trip, to travel alone in the other one, which was a good experience for us. :)
The first evening of our trip we arrived in Iowa and went to Wednesday-night church with the M's, then we had supper with them at Sonic.
The next day, my parents went on to Cincinnati, Ohio to get to God's Bible School & College in time for a orchestra concert that my brother Jason was in. We girls stayed with the M's for that day because Hayley was graduating in the evening from nursing school, and Lesa (Jeffrey's girlfriend) needed to be there for that before she could go to Ohio with us the next day.

The next day (Friday), Elizabeth, Lesa, Joanna, and I traveled to GBSC and got there just in time for supper. Most of the students were already gone from the cafeteria when we got there.
God's Bible School and College, where Jeffrey, Elizabeth, and Jason have gone to college. We love visiting there; the services and fellowship are always a blessing and encouragement.

That afternoon, some friends from Jeffrey's church (the Beckers) let us have a party for him in their backyard. It rained hard a lot of the afternoon, but it went well anyway, and we were thankful for the opportunity to have a party for him.

In the Sunday evening service, all the seniors went to the front to be prayed for. All the teachers gathered in front of the students to pray for them, and all the parents that were there came in behind the students. It was a special time.
On Monday we packed Jeffrey's dorm room up and traveled back to the M's. We got there for supper. My brother Tim, sister-n-love Brenda, and niece Charissa had just gotten there also, from Missouri; it was so good to see them again.
The next morning there was breakfast, Bible time, snuggles with Charissa, some fun group games, visiting, and then Tim, Brenda, and Charissa had to leave (and they took Joanna with them) and return to MO.

In the afternoon, we went out to their Hammock Grove and enjoyed the hammocks for awhile! :)

Tim, Brenda, and Charissa -- Love them so much! It was so nice to get to see them again.
On the 30th of May, we went to Wyoming for a friend's wedding. It was a very special wedding and I enjoyed getting to take snapshots for it. Here are a few that I took:

Then on the 31st, the last day of the month, we went to Colorado Springs (about 2 hours from where we live) for the day. We love getting to go to special services there and getting to see friends and family.
Here, I got this picture during the song service of Sis. Gault playing her chimes. Elizabeth and I love to hear her play them; it is such a joyous sound and so beautiful!
After the pot-luck at the parsonage, a few of us went out on the front porch to enjoy the spring/summer afternoon. ~Jonathan and Jewelyn having fun~
My 13-month-old niece is learning how to walk! After a few steps, she claps for herself with a big smile on her face, then keeps going! :) It is so neat to watch a little one learning new things.
