One weekend that I spent at Randy and Joy's house, Joanna, our nephews, and I made and decorated sugar cookies just for fun.
I had the pleasure of helping my nephew learn how to ride his bike!
September 7th, Randy+Joy+family came up for a picnic and a walk around our lake.

September 8th, we went up to the mountains for some family time with Randy+Joy's family, and my brother Jeffrey, who came to visit for a few days from Iowa.
Another picnic the next evening with our family. That week felt like Christmas week, with how we were getting to see a lot of our family every day. :)

September 23rd, Randy+Joy's family came for supper.

Our supper, which was when we celebrated my friend Joanna's 18th birthday, and my sister Elizabeth's 22nd birthday.
Joanna and I - best friends ever since Joanna's sister Joy married my brother Randy in August 2006.
The last week of September, we started a big project - putting a new ceiling in our church.
Here Daddy and Elizabeth are taking down lights, and Joanna and I are plastic-ing the pews.
Quil shop-vacuuming the mess that we made throughout the evening as the trim was taken down, nails pulled out, walls got taped, etc.
On Saturday a group from Colorado Springs came to do the drywall-ing.

On Sunday, because of the mess, we had church outside in the yard.
September 27th was the special blood moon eclipse. This was the start of it, when the shadow from the earth was just starting across the moon.
This was when it was almost completely covered, and more red.
