To start off the first month of this new year, our youth pastor took as many of the youth that could go, to the Ark Encounter for their laser light show on the side of the Ark.
It was very cold that night. This was on the Ark Encounter bus on the way there.
Some of the cold girls in front of the Ark.
In between times of being outside, we had to spend a few minutes inside to warm up.
Drinking coffee and visiting in the gift shop.
More of the group but still not everyone.
On the 7th, we were delighted to have dinner after church at the Stetlers with the Strouds and Staleys.

Ice-falls on the way home that day.
A local store gives lots of flowers to our church to pass out after they get too old to sell. So every couple of weeks we get to enjoy some fresh flowers on our table!
One evening I did a little photoshoot with my violin.
For work, one of my jobs is to get birthday cakes for the co-workers' birthdays, so here I am one morning super early, getting a cake ready to take.
On the 14th of January, we were blessed to spend an evening with Uncle Ron and Aunt Becky, my dad's sister. We had supper with them and lots of visiting.
One of our adopted girls from GBS, Danette, got to come with us.
We've had quite a bit of snow during January. These pictures are from the 16th, when it snowed the most at one time.

Time for some birdie pictures!
"See my pretty red head?"

My Daddy turned 60 on the 21st! I'm so thankful for him!
I struggled with a cold much of January it seems like, but we think I actually had the flu for a couple days. I had off work for a couple days to get better so I spent some time drawing.
It was so fun! I hardly have time to draw anymore.

One day I was just looking out the window and suddenly noticed this hawk in a tree a ways into our backyard.
Sunday morning, the 28th, started out so foggy and beautiful.
After church we got to have Sunday dinner at the Coopers, along with the Martinolies. These friends were our Care-N-Connect group this season.
Also on the 28th, my friend Kimberly spoke at her church about her missions trip. Elizabeth and I enjoyed going and hearing about that.
See ya'll in a few weeks!
