July Happenings

Here are some photos of our July. It was a pretty busy month.

My sister-in-love, her sister, her daughter (my niece), and me matching on a Sunday. <3

~The three munchkins also known as Jason, Beth, and Emily~
This was one Sunday dinner, after church. Some friends from Colorado Springs had come to Federal Heights for church and a meal, so we had quite a crowd for dinner compared to usual. :)
On a Sunday afternoon, we got to meet the new baby of some friends of ours, Josephine Kaus!
One evening we went to the Maxwell family's Energize conference. They had a session, then the rest of the evening they sang, played music, and shared testimonies.
With me learning sign-language this summer, I often say things to my family in S.L. They are learning things, especially the A.S.L. alphabet. My sister Beth already knows the alphabet, so she was helping teach Daddy and Mother.
This summer our friends the Browns have been spending two days a week with us. One day we took them roller-skating. ~Faith, Hope, Lincoln, and I~
And another day we took them to a train museum. This is inside the caboose.

Our friend Sunshine told us that her cherry tree was heavy laden and to come take pictures of it if I wanted to, so I did, and my parents and I helped her pick over 40 pounds of cherries that evening. It was a lot of fun. But these were sour cherries, not the yummy ones.

The next day I went to her house and helped her pit all the cherries, and make and can lots of cherry-pie-filling. It was a lot of work, but it was good and fun work. :)

The last week of July, we went to McPherson Camp in Kansas. My brother and his family, plus my uncle and aunt got to come too! It was so nice to see each other, and the services during camp were really good!
I loved getting to help in the children's services every day!
This was before an evening service; it was so special to get to play my violin with the other instrumentalists!
We always love seeing Tim, Brenda, and my darling niece Charissa <3
