Two or three times in October my oldest brother, Randy and his family, came to visit us for an evening at a time.

We have had an amazingly beautiful fall, one of the best ever! We've gone on lots of walks, and enjoyed many fall evenings.

This was one day that we went to the Johnstown Lake to walk around. I love going there.
I love seeing my daddy and mother walking together. They're so sweet. And notice the flavors of red trees to the left. :)

On one side of the lake there is a huge 'field' of cat-tails, and the black birds love that area.
One frigid morning I was outside on our glider, waiting to be picked up, and saw this squirrel, who was also out enjoying the very cool temperatures.

A couple months ago, we had Randy paint our kitchen, changing it from its blue color (that we've had for 10 years) to a maroon on one wall as you can see below, and cream on the other walls.

One afternoon at my friend Sunshine's house, she tossed some peanuts out and called "Charley!", and about 6 Blue-jays (all named Charley) which are used to hearing the peanuts fall to the ground, came flying into the yard within a few minutes. It was very neat to watch. One or two at a time would inch closer, closer, and then they would snatch up a peanut and be gone before you could even blink! :)
