February 2017

Hello from Kentucky, ya'll! I continue to work at Chick-fil-A full time, my mother is working as a care-giver four days a week, and my dad got a job at Budget Blinds a week and a half ago! Our lives are busy, and it's a whole new stage of life than we've ever experienced before, but God, our Heavenly Father, is helping and encouraging us as we serve Him where we are.

We had some beautiful sunrises and sunsets!

Our squirrel friend continues to eat our bird-food, even after my dad put "squirrel-spikes" near the bird-feeder.

 On the 5th, we had the Witt family over for dinner after church. We played some games in the afternoon with them.

 It rained a lot in February!!

 On the 7th, Mother and I went to Sew-Spirations. We and the other ladies finished up some blankets that they've been making for the nursing home.

Sunday, the 26th, we had the Stamper family for dinner after church. It was nice to get to know them better!

 We've had several beautiful, 70 degree weather days!

 On February 28th was 'Ladies Meeting' at our church's fellowship building. Mother and I had a delightful evening with the ladies in our church.

 Michelle Witt spoke to us.

We had supper and a couple fun activities.
One of them was this -- we all had a piece of paper taped to our back, and we wrote encouraging things/things we appreciate about that person on each-others' papers.

 It created lots of laughter! :)
