Drawing!

My new hobby that I absolutely love, is drawing -- people especially.  I know my drawings don't look exactly like the person, but I'm trying, and I hope to get better. It's a lot of fun!
This one is of our babysitting girl, Hope.

Happy Birthday, Jeffrey! You mean so much to me, and I love you dearly!! I'm so glad that we get to see you for your birthday, and get to spend more time with you this summer. Love you, Jeffrey.

Bright Lights 2012

In the summer of 2011, Beth and I enjoyed doing a Bible study with a group of homeschool girls. Our group is called Bright Lights; it was started by Sarah Mally, who has written all the booklets and things for the Bible study. 
Our Bright Lights group did more of the Bible study together this June and part of July, and then (as we have before) sang at 2 nursing homes in Greeley.  Some fun pictures together after practicing our program for the nursing homes:

I've loved spending time with the Bright Lights girls and Mrs. Fulton while studying God's Word. It has been a huge blessing to me!

Last year we had another girl with us, Makenna, but she's now going to Ellerslie, and we missed her greatly!

We've prayed that we could be a blessing to these people through our singing and sharing of Bible verses and things we've learned through this Bible Study, and God has helped us!.

On July 3rd, the Mendezes came over for supper so they could see the Albertsons too.

We went to a park with all the kids and played for a while.

Fourth of July!

All of July 4th week, we had some relatives from Kansas come visit us. We had so much fun, even though it was a crazy, busy week. On July 4th, all of our guests and us, and some more relatives from Greeley, had a water balloon fight!

Then after that, we went home and played some games out in our front yard.
