Hymn Sing 2012

Hello Everyone! I know I haven't blogged for awhile, so I'm finally getting around to posting, especially for one of my friends who keeps asking me to. :)  It might be the last post for awhile though, because we're going to have a bunch of guests all of next week, and I'll be really busy. 

On June 16th, Saturday, we had some friends visiting who live in Kremmling, and we took them to the Walker Hymn Sing that we try to go to every year. It is just an evening of singing and praising God though hymns, out on a big lawn area. There are usually at least a 1,000 people there.

Bike-rides with Jason

I love summer going on summer bike rides with my brother, Jason! We've explored all over Johnstown, and our favorite place to go is to the Johnstown Lake, which is 3 miles away from our house. You can see a clear view of the mountains from there and the sunsets are just beautiful. Here are a bunch of pictures from our bike rides recently.

Once we had free coupons for slurpies at a nearby gas-station so we enjoyed those on a bike ride.

And get some mosquito bites . . .

I love lighthouses!

 In the first picture, the lighthouse, ground, water, moon, and light are made out of yarn that is glued to the paper, so it "pops out" from the backround.

And here is a drawing of a lighthouse that I did awhile back. I've never seen a lighthouse, other than pictures, but I love to try to draw them, even if I'm not too good at it.

Pictures from our trip

 May 9th -- May 18th  Daddy, Mother, and I went on a trip to Cincinnati, Ohio and back, to get my brother from God's Bible School and take him to Joplin, Missouri to work with my oldest two brothers this summer.

I'm so thankful that I got to spend some time with my older brothers and their families in Missouri.
Charissa was dedicated to the Lord while we were there.
