August 2, we had the Sankeys over for Sunday dinner. They are such dear people and are a joy to be around.
That evening at church, the Melton family came to share about their missionary work in Honduras!
It is always good to see them and hear how God is working in their lives as they serve Him!
That same evening, our friends from Colorado, Cara and Hope Brown, flew in to stay a couple evenings with us.
Supper time the next day. It was so good to see them again and catch up!
August 4, on my off-work day I went to Comargo Camp for the services and activites.

Bro. Dickinson did the youth services, and used the 3 Little Pigs story for spiritual lessons! It was so creative, and he drew the pictures himself!

The 2nd weekend of August, our dear, long-time friends, Richard and Judy Grout visited us. It was good to see them again and spend some time with them.
Sis. Grout tried playing some duets with Elizabeth and I. We aren't used to duets, but she is good at it and was patient with us.
We also did some acrylic painting with her on Sunday afternoon.

That evening we went to the last service of Comargo Camp, when they did the kids service before the main service. Our friend, Esther, did the children's services that week. Here she was getting them ready to go in.

It is so neat to watch Esther work with kids. She is an amazing teacher and her love for Jesus and children just shines when she is in that position.
August 11, I drove up in OH to see my friend Natalie for her birthday. I stopped by this waterfall, which Natalie showed me last year when I was visiting, on my way there.
It was so good to see Natalie. We had a sweet time together!

August 21-23, almost our whole Albertson family was together, for the celebration of Jason and Elizabeth's graduations from GBS. I say
almost because we
were going to be all together, but then Jason had to be in quarantine and couldn't come! We were sooo sad. We missed them, but enjoyed being together with everyone else for a few days.

On Sunday afternoon most of us headed over to GBS for graduation. Mishael fell asleep against me on the way.

August 24 was move in day at GBS for incoming students. I was so excited to get to help this year!

Our church's usual summer VBS got cancelled, so Ms. Esther and team put on a weekend, condensed version of VBS, called "Blast Off". The theme was "Unstoppable". Esther did an amazing job and the kids loved it!
