Hello everyone who might be reading this picture-journal! We had a fun, busy, good October!
Once a month at GBSC we have Interest Group meetings instead of a chapel service. Elizabeth and I are both in the Missions group. Here is just a third of that group in the Sankeys' home.
Miss Jessica Smith, who is the Christian Service director, scheduled to have the freshman class go to
Matthew 25: Ministries to volunteer one evening. We got split into 2 groups, one to work while the other group took the tour of how
Matthew 25: got started, and then we swapped.
We got to sort hundreds of medicine bottles for them.
Volleyball Intramurals have been going on once a week which has made for some fun evenings and good exercise.

We went on a very fast trip to Missouri for my Aunt Marlene's wedding. We left after classes on the 5th, and came back on the 7th.
When we got to MO we met Randy and Joy's family (who had come from SD) for supper at Steak and Shake.

October 6th was the wedding day. Aunt Marlene wanted all the ladies to wear hats, so many ladies did. Jeffrey and Lesa also came from Iowa for the wedding.
I was privileged to get to play my violin for prelude and some songs throughout the wedding, with a sweet lady, Kathy.
Aunt Marlene and my new Uncle Tim's wedding was unique and special because both of their spouses have passed away, so they were joining their families together.

After all the wedding activities, all of my immediate family went to a pizza restaurant so we could get a bit more time together.

We were so thankful for all the family time we crammed into a few hours together!
After the wedding Randy and Joy's family, Jeffrey and Lesa, and we Kentucky-Albertsons traveled from Missouri to Iowa. We traded people within vehicles so more conversations could happen.

We spent that night with Jeffrey and Lesa. The next day we enjoyed breakfast with them and went to church with them.
Our friends in Iowa, Bud and Tonya Poe, came to the church so we could see them briefly before church.
The morning service was special, with Jeffrey and Lesa speaking and getting commissioned.

After lunch, we traveled back to Kentucky and got home in time for bed. We're so thankful for safe travels and God's protection.
On October 12th, GBSC was getting ready for Homecoming 2018! Elizabeth and I and others helped prepare ice-cream, decorate, etc.

My cousin, Aaron Profitt, was honored during the service.

On Oct. 13, Jason and Karen came over for supper and playing some games.
On Oct. 14, all the 18-30-year-olds sang a special song at church in the morning and evening.
For Sunday dinner guests, we had Sam and Hannah Kinnamon, Luke Hughes, Zach and Rebekah Barkman, and Danette.
One day at GBS, my friend Heidi stopped by for a visit. It was fun to see her.

Oct. 21, I was gone with SWSE, but the rest of my family got to host the Stroud family, Stetlers, and Cassidy family, for pastor appreciation.
Wish I could've been in 2 places at once!
That day, SWSE went to Marion, OH in the morning for a service. It went pretty well for being our first time out and we were thankful for God's presence in the service. This picture was taken while we were tuning and getting ready.

After the service, my friends Karen, Karina, Gabby, and I got a few quick pictures near the church.

Everyone in SWSE has a job, and it's so neat to watch everything happen as we work together.
Decatur church gave us a yummy supper of soup and sandwiches before we hit the road to go back to GBSC.
Oct. 24 was the day of GBS's Harvest party! It was a beautiful day for it.

Oct. 23rd, I got to go out for coffee and conversation with my sister-in-love, Karen!
Oct 25th, my friend Kimberly and I had a special time together for coffee and talking! It was good to catch up with her.
The evening of Oct. 26th, our friend Mikah Litchfield and 2 of her friends spent the night with us. They and Elizabeth were going to a Muslim Missions seminar for the day. It was good to see Mikah, and meet her friends.
Oct. 27th was a long day at work, so after we got off, Brittany, Katie, and I took a bit of time to relax, talk, and have milk-shakes in the corner. I am blessed to get to work with these sweet girls!
Oct. 28th was Sunday, and this picture was taken during Young Adult Sunday School.
That day for Sunday dinner, the Harms family and Danette came, but we forgot to get a picture at the table.
October 28-30th was Missions Convention at God's Bible School. Bro. Eric Kuhns was the keynote speaker for it. He and his family are missionaries in Honduras.

As I was studying in the library that afternoon, I saw Bro. Himelick come in with 2 of his 6 kids and read a book to them. It encouraged me so much to see one of my missionary heroes being a real daddy to his littles.

Oct. 30th, a few of us students went with Bro. Rodney Keister downtown Cincy to do some outreach for 3 hours.
It made us miss supper at GBS, so Bro. Keister was so kind to take us to Chick-fil-A for supper and conversation about how the outreach time had gone.
Fall has slowly but surely been spreading over the campus.
