I flew back to OK right in time before a big snow storm hit KY, and came back to dreadful cold in OK.
And then we got some snow too (kinda rare for OK)!
It snowed enough to make for a snow-day!
I made a little snowman near a playground so some kids might enjoy it.
Jan. 11, it finally worked out to have the Herring family over for supper and the evening. Such a sweet evening together. This family is so dear to me. They have done so much for me since I moved to OK and have loved me and been like family.
Playing Apples to Apples together.
A sunrise on my way to work.
Bingo event at a coffee shop, fundraiser for Happy Hands.
Jan. 18, Ms. Mary Ann had Ms. Renee and me over for supper.
Thankful for these two special ladies!! I was blessed to work with Ms. Renee for a whole year, learning so much from her in a Deaf Ed kindergarten classroom. In the process, we developed a close friendship. Ms. Mary Ann opened her home to me after the fire, and during those 3 weeks in that sweet haven, she became a dear friend as well.

Tea party on a Sunday afternoon with Maisy!
A bird convention happening: a common occurrence in January.
Break time one day: got to go to Ziggis with Ms. Renee.
Jan. 24, had 4 coworkers over for evening snacks and games.
Jan. 25, I went to the Tulsa Symphony with my coworker Cassidy.
It was a fun evening!
I've been finding bits of time to crochet this month.
Jan. 26, Ms. Renee, Ms. Mary Ann, and I made a trip to OKC to visit our student from last year, who has been so sick in the hospital for 2 months, after complications post-heart-surgery. Precious girl.
I was not driving that evening, so I got to enjoy the full sunset.
So pretty.
Staff meeting after work.
Our wonderful and sweet cook, Ms. Kellie!
Walking during breaks on nice days with my friend, Kati, is such a blessing!
Supper after work on Jan. 31, with my coworker Cassidy.
It was a busy January, and felt so very long, as January always does.
But God brought us through it, with many blessings and answers to prayer!
