May 2019 mainly consisted of end-of-school activities, starting back at work full-time again, getting our house on the market and having showings. Here are pictures! :)
On May 3rd, Elizabeth and I got to meet Ellisyn Grace Stroud, who was born on May 2nd.
She is the precious fourth addition to Andy and Sherilyn Stroud, our assistant pastor's family.

May 5th, our friends, the Dickinson family came over for Sunday dinner, and we enjoyed the afternoon with them so much!

We started out the freshman year as strangers who knew how to smile better than how to make conversation, but are ending our freshman year together as dear friends, who love and appreciate each other. ❤ These girls have been real blessings to me this year, and I'm so thankful to get to do college with them.

May 14th was An Evening with the Symphonic Wind and String Ensemble!
I was so thankful to get to be stand-buddies with Ms. V for 2 whole years. She's such a blessing!
I was blessed and surprised to have four Chick-fil-A coworkers come for the SWSE concert!
The last SWSE service/concert with these three amigas, as they all graduated this year. They will be missed!
May 15th was the Spring Picnic, a fun day for the whole campus!

May 17th was the DEPS department canoe trip! We were so thankful for the beautiful weather that day for it because last year it got rained out,
When we arrived at the the canoe location we got ready with life jackets and paddles, and then the people in charge took us in their buses, up the river 6 miles to where canoes were waiting for us. We canoed back to this location.

Elizabeth and I love to canoe together because we trust each other to stay right side up and not tip the boat over! :) We were successful.
We stopped at this spot along the way to eat our packed lunch. Others ate further down the river.

We spent Sunday, May 19th, at GBS because of the Commissioning weekend services.

May 20th was the funeral of a dear saint in our church, Erma Stamper. She fought cancer for the last several years.
It was a precious service of worship to God and honoring Sis. Stamper's life.

May 23rd, I went to GBS to spend the evening with Gaby and Abby before they headed back to Mexico for the summer. We went to an ice-cream-social at Christ Hospital where Gaby will be doing nursing next year.
Then when it quit raining (it had been raining all day), we fit our bikes into our van and went to Lunken Airport for a great 5-mile bikeride!
This was my second time there, but the girls' first time. They loved it!
There was a lot of fog/mist/humidity/clouds from the day's rainstorms, so it made for beautiful scenery as we rode.
May 25th we enjoyed supper and visiting at the Drs. Brown's home.
There was a pretty sunset that evening.
Sunday, May 26th, we had Emma and Elliana Wilson and Sis. Judy over for dinner. Our dining room keeps changing looks as we prepare for moving and have showings.
