Review of December 2023 - sorry this is late!

One evening, my school's director invited some of the assistant teachers over for supper.
It was a fun evening in the Pride's home.

A Saturday at Chick-fil-A.
I decorated my apt for Christmas, just a little bit. The phrase "I'll be home for Christmas!" has a new meaning to me now! :)

The Goldfish class team, with our lead teacher in the middle. So glad I get to work with these ladies!
One morning there was a gorgeous sunrise happening in the east, and then this amazing rainbow appeared in the west, shortly before a rainstorm happened. I had never seen a rainbow in the morning before! God is amazing!
Dec. 24, I was so thankful to be at my home church in Burlington with sweet friends!
Matching with my precious mother.Dec. 24, Sunday p.m. service was a candle-light service. My sister who had come just in time for it, got to do a reading.
Our friend, Korin, doing a children's story.
The candle-lighting part of the service. After this, I got to do ASL to Brant Luther singing O Holy Night.
Sis. Regina and Mother after the service.
Christmas day was really relaxed, just my parents, sister, and I spending time together.
Christmas dinner was pretty simple, but delicious.
We played a few games together.
For supper, some friends who we haven't seen for a while got to come over.
Dec. 26, I spent the morning with my friends, the Harms, just catching up. <3 The kids played their piano songs for me.
My parents, sister, and I - so grateful to be together this Christmas.
We succeeded in putting this very hard puzzle together!
Dec. 27 - I met my friend Jenny for breakfast and catching up! <3
Later that day, I got to have chai with my dear friend, Brittany, then we went to Hobby Lobby.
I'm so glad I got to see my brother Jason and sis-in-law Karen a few times during break!
Doing another puzzle together.
One afternoon Mother and I enjoyed meeting up with Regina at Chick-fil-A for milkshakes (and water in the extra cups!).
New Year's Eve Sunday at Burlington! I love these sweet girls, and am so thankful they still remembered me!
Matching in wintery blues!
Burlington Bible Church had a watch-night service, so evening service was 9-10, then an hour of fellowship and snacks, then hymn-sing and prayer time 11-midnight to welcome in the new year!
What a joy to spend the last few hours of 2023 with my church family in this way! My friend, Pam <3
Sweet Ellie!
Jan. 1, 2024, Brittany came over for supper and playing a game! We also drank some eggnog. :)
Jan. 2, 2024 - I'm thankful I got to spend a morning at Carabello Coffee, catching up with my friend Kimberly!
I flew back to Tulsa on Jan. 3, 2024, ready to start school again the following day.
I'm so thankful for Christmas break, that I got to go home to KY, and spend such sweet time reconnecting with friends and family during that week and a half!
I'm so thankful for God's help and faithfulness to me during 2023!
He has done so much in my life in the past year, but in everything, He has been so good and faithful.
Trusting Him with 2024 as well!!
