November 2017!

Hey ya'll! November was a super busy month that flew by! Here are some snapshots of our busy lives from this month.
Fall moments at God's Bible School and College.
I got to go out for ice-cream one night with a co-worker of mine, Hayley.
Sunday dinner with the Wilson family...
and Danette and Lily
The first Sunday evening of December, we went to the Collingsworth family's concert.
The Women of Worth meeting in Cincinnati ended with a group picture, with mustaches.
My friends, Megan and Korin and I (I had come straight from work).
An early morning photo of Mother and us girls, ready to head our separate ways for the day, Elizabeth and I to GBS, and Mother to work.
One day after class, the Harms took me to Dunkin Donuts for a little treat!
Every once in a while, it works out that we get to see our friend Merilee on campus and visit with her.
Study time
One day instead of regular class time, we had sectionals for each group to work on their music. Only 6 of us violinists could come that day though.
Out to Dunkin Donuts with my friend Lily!
It was a rainy day, but we had a good time visiting together!
Donut Day at GBS!   (I donut know what it was with me and donuts that week!)  ;)
A sign I made and put up at work.
One day my dad was working in our neighborhood, so he got to stop by for lunch.
Mother working on pumpkins.
We had a really pretty fall!
The Harms triplets and I one Sunday morning after church.
Sunday dinner with the Smith family, Lily, and Danette!
Danette took a family photo for us in our backyard.
Lily, Elizabeth, Danette, and I kinda coordinating.
A beautiful sunset
Mother quilted this Christmas wall-hanging for our dining room.
Thanksgiving day started out frosty!
We got ready, and then played some games while waiting for our guests to arrive. Thanksgiving week, a friend from GBS, Rose, stayed with us.
My Uncle Ron and Aunt Becky, their son Adam and his family, and Jason and Karen joined us for Thanksgiving dinner and the afternoon.

The girls table
We played some games of Clue.
And did lots of visiting!
We are so thankful for everyone who got to come spend part of the day with us!
I had fun coloring with Aubrey, Annie, and Adley.
Jason and Karen with Adam and Valerie's boy, Clay.

One Sunday we had the Coopers and Martinolis for dinner after church.
We had to say goodbye to our co-worker, Lenny. He has been here for 9 months, and is going back home to NY now. He has been a blessing to work with and we will miss him. These were his goodbye gifts.
It's been a blessing to me to talk with Sis. Klotz a few times recently. She works at another Chick-fil-A, doing the same type of thing I'm doing, and her walk with the Lord and joy in the Lord is really encouraging as well. She is also a GBS campus mom, and is so sweet to all the students.
A campus family, the Mitchells, let me join their D-group in the Commons one night. They had a gift exchange.
Fun "roasting marshmellows" over the "fire" with the Harms kids!
Some of us Chick-fil-A-ers  got to go to Lenny's graduation at P.L.M. and say goodbye to him again. This is all the CFA people that were there.

Frost on my car one morning...

October 2017

Our October was very busy! We had many things going on, so there are lots of pictures of those events.
A woodpecker in our backyard.

The first Sunday of the month we had the Lopers, Lily, and Danette over for Sunday dinner.
We young people enjoyed playing some games in the afternoon.
Apples to Apples
After the Lopers left, the rest of us played and sang some songs.
Then we went on a walk to enjoy the rest of the afternoon.
October 6th was the 1-year-anniversary of when Chick-fil-A Ft. Wright opening! I've been with them for a whole year now.
The owner/operator Brent Linn with a giant cake for the employees to enjoy.
One day I got home from work and went on a bikeride around our neighborhood, with my camera, to see what kind of pictures I could find.

Woods in our neighborhood before they suddenly changed colors a couple weeks later.
We got a lot of rain this month.
Here's a couple photos of our cute visitor in our backyard.
My friend Kimberly and I after SWSE practice at GBS one morning.

A quick photo with my seatmates, Anna and Gabby in SWSE practice another day.

October 13 and 14 was Homecoming at God's Bible School & College. The Symphonic Wind & String Ensemble (SWSE) played prelude for the Friday evening service.
Kimberly and I ready and excited to play!

The choir sang during the service.
Dr. Phil Brown and his wife Marianne were honored during the service. They are dear people that go to our church.
During the service, there were short video messages from alumni, and my brother Jeffrey had a video too!
This was the alumni choir.
Our sweet assistant pastor's wife, Sherilyn is an alumnus from GBS and got to be in the choir.
On Saturday there were festivities around the campus. Sam and Hannah from our church were there.
Ms. V, the dorm mom, did some of the burger and hotdog grilling.
Our friend Lily with her mom and sister.
Elizabeth worked at one of the tables, selling caramel apples.
Elizabeth and I matching
Katie and Kara, friends from church, enjoying Homecoming.
Like it or not, the new GBS president, Bro. Loper, got pie in his face.
His wife was supposed to be the last to put pie in his face, but instead, she wiped off his face and gave him a kiss! It was so sweet.

Visiting with friends
Later that day, Lily and I went to the Creation Museum, to see what Deaf Day at the CM was like.
On the 17th, we met our pastor Stetlers, and missionary friends from Russia, the Grouts, for supper at a restaurant.
It was good to see the Grouts again. They used to stay with us in Colorado when they were in the states, so they came to see us in KY too.
The Harm triplets and I one Sunday morning, kinda matching.
Annabelle, Emmalee, and me - they are such sweet girlies!
Oct. 21 and 22 was Family Fest at our church!
On Saturday there were different activities for all ages.
Rock painting...
That weekend was Daddy and Mother's 34th anniversary!
Elizabeth and I each had a turn overseeing the bounce house.
These ladies made the hot-dogs for everyone.
There were many foods to enjoy.
Bro. and Sis. Weddle grilled all the hot-dogs for the meal.
Thank you, ladies, for making our yummy hot-dogs, and different kinds too!
The Harms family
At the end of the evening, our family sang a pastor-appreciation song, that Mother had written, for our dear pastors, the Stetlers and Strouds.
Sunday, Oct. 22, Daddy and Mother's 34th anniversary!
After church there was another meal in the yard for everyone to enjoy.
Then there was a song service in the afternoon by the Mayle family.
Elizabeth and I matching that Sunday.
Later that afternoon, we and our friend Danette went to a park, not too far away and walked on the woodsy-trails!
It was so relaxing to walk through the woods.
Mother, Danette, Elizabeth, and I
Daddy and Mother by a creek.
A close-up of some flowering weed.
Young Ladies Bible Study at the Strouds' home on a Tuesday evening. We had a blessing time together.

On October 25th was GBSC's Harvest party, which was held at a farm out in the country.
There was a pretty pond and fountain.
My new GBS friends, Karen, Karina, and Gabby went out to the lake with me when we first got there.
There was a nice bonfire ready for us.
Cornhole
We had warm soup to eat.
It was a pretty cold evening.
Eating and visiting
My friend Candace by the pond.
Singing around the fire.
On October 29th, GBSC's orchestra went to two churches in Indiana for services, in Columbus and Ft. Wyane. It is so incredible to be part of SWSE!
Tuning instruments before the first service.
Setting up!
After our first service, which God richly blessed, the church had a meal for us before we headed on to the second church.
It was fun to sit with Ms. Jess, who is our piano player, and Gabby, and get to know them better in the bus.
A look back at everyone on the bus, Sunday afternoon while many naps were happening.
The GBSC bus with some gorgeous fall color.
There was also a van and trailer following us, and when we arrived at the second church, we found out it had broken down on the road, so the guys took off in the bus to rescue the trailer full of equipment for the service.
So Gabby and I decided to walk to the beautiful stand of trees and take some photos.
We had a fun time together during this "photoshoot".
Sweet Gabby
At that church in Ft. Wayne, I was blessed to get to see our friends, the Litchfields.
Leaving you with another fall picture, also from Gabby and I's photoshoot.
It's November now ya'll! We should be thankful all year round, but I do enjoy November, being able to especially focus on and be reminded to be thankful to God, who blesses us so much, every day.
