Hello everyone! It is nearly the end of September now but I am just now getting to blog about our August! We had a very occupied August with moving and school starting up, so that is why I'm so late in blogging. :)
August 3 was my friend, Jenny's wedding.

8/4 - Our next to last Sunday dinner in our Stone Hill house. We had Sis. Sankey, Sis. Stetler, and the Wilson girls for dinner guests.
That evening at church, Emma and I sang a special song.

8/11 - our last Sunday dinner, with Jimmy and the Wilson girls.
In the afternoon we found a nice park to walk around.
These trees were so funny to us! The ground here is fairly level, and the trees are slanted!

That evening at church the Melton family was there doing a missionary service, sharing about their work in Honduras. It was so good to see them again and hear about what God is doing through them!

Jeffrey and Lesa came to visit us again and help us move. They also dropped her sister off at KMCB after supper with us.

8/13 The new owners of our house signed the contract!
We were so glad to meet the people who we've been praying for, for months!

8/14 We signed the contract for buying our new home. We are so thankful to our realtor, Krista, for all her hard, persistent, and patient work on our behalf! She has been such a blessing to our family!
After signing the papers, we could get into our new house and begin working on things.

There were many spiders when we first arrived because of the house being empty for a long while, but our vacuums quickly took care of them.
Daddy and Jeffrey set to work on several projects, one of them being redirecting where the dryer vent comes out.
Jeffrey re-keyed all the locks for us!
8/15 Jeffrey and Lesa put up new fans in several rooms.
Our first REAL meal in our new home! (Real, meaning with plates, glasses, and silverware) :)
Lesa and I put together beds, and then we slept there that night!

8/16 was our big moving day. We rented a Penske truck and friends were able to come and help us!
We are so thankful for those who were able to come and help us move out of our Stone Hill house!! We got done loading in less than 4 hours!
When we arrived at our new home, some tree limbs had to be trimmed before the truck could be backed into the driveway. Little Karilee was excited to see her daddy, since he had been busy helping us all morning.

8/17 Danette came over and helped get our pantry moved into! Thanks, Danette!
8/18 We went to church at GBS because of Convocation services happening. We enjoyed visiting with friends after the service, and holding little Daniel Harms.

8/24 Mother's birthday - we got to eat outside on our new patio!
8/25 Our first Sunday to have guests over - Retha, Caleb, Jimmy, Danette, and Rebecca.
8/27 We were supposed to have a GBS Fall Picnic, but like often happens around here, it got rained out, so we just had a picnic at GBS instead. Between raindrops, Ms. V, Bro. Hyatt, and Bro. Muir cooked our food.

8/29 Jeffrey and Lesa had made a quick trip up to NYC, but then on their way back home, stopped by to work on a few more projects. They put up brackets to keep our bookshelves from falling over.
They brought some special foreign soup and pop that they had found in NYC, that they wanted to share what it was like with us.
8/31 Jeffrey and Lesa left to go back home. We are so thankful for them and all the hard work they did while they were with us! They were such a blessing to us, and I don't think we could've done it without them.
I've always wanted to get close up to some sunflowers to take pictures! I finally found some that were accessible, even though they aren't "real" sunflowers. I was thankful anyway!
August 26th, 2019 my new niece was born to Randy and Joy in SD!! Her name is Mandylyn Joy Albertson!
Mandylyn is welcomed to the family by James, Micah, Jonathan, Jewelyn, and Mishael! They are so excited to have another little sister!
