Hello! Our July was jam-packed full of busyness, work, guests, and family time. Elizabeth was gone all of July, on her missions internship to Taiwan, so we missed her during all our busyness.
The first Sunday of the month we had Sam and Hannah Kinnamon, Brandon, and Judy Johnson as our guests for dinner after church.
Our lilies bloomed really well compared to last year, so we really enjoyed them!
It's been such a blessing to get to work with my friend from church, Brittany Stamper.
Another co-worker, Cassie, and I one evening when we got to work in the kitchen.Group photo of these people who I am blessed to call my friends and co-workers!
On the 4th of July, we were all off work so we went on an adventure, exploring some of our Ohio/Kentucky surroundings.
On the Kentucky side of the Ohio River.
On the shore of Augusta, KY
We and our van rode the ferry to the Ohio side.
Daddy and Mother in Maysville, Ohio
We had a lovely picnic!
We ended the day with going to prayer meeting at church. A quick photo with my mother before we left.
We got this picture of my oldest brother and his family on the 4th of July.
On a bike ride in our neighborhood.
Beautiful sunlight in the evenings...Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-fil-A!
It was a crazy, fun day with my coworkers!
Our friends the Dickinsons came to our Chick-fil-A after I left. I was so sorry to miss them! They make such cute cows!!
Our friends the Harms came after I had gone too, and I missed seeing those cute little cows!
BUT! After the Harms were done at Chick-fil-A, they surprised us by stopping by for a visit! I sure love these kiddos!!
Janeane and I with Normarys, the sweet wife of the owner/operator.
We have a lot of fun together!
On my day off work one week I spent the day baking and cooking. So fun and productive!
We've had several funerals in church lately. Bro. Chuck Weddle passed away and they put this on his pew for the viewing... It's where he always sat in church.
We've gotten tomatoes, a few zucchini, and some peppers from our Earth box plants!
Sunday dinner with the O'Donnells
Our friends, the Vanderfords from TX, volunteered for the Creation museum for a week so they stayed nights at our house. They were so busy that we didn't get to see them much though.
One evening my cousin Heather was traveling through so we got to have her over for supper! We hadn't seen her since 2005! It was good to reconnect with her.
A couple Wednesdays lately I've gotten to go to our friends' home to teach the girls how to crochet. The Arenders are such a sweet family, raising their kids for the Lord, and I enjoy spending time with them.
Picnic with the Harms at their house, while their kids were away with grandparents.

Jason and Karen and our friend Mikah came over one evening for supper and games!Playing Wise Or Otherwise. We had a nice time together, but we missed Mother, who spent a week visiting her parents in Missouri.
Daddy and I took a walk one evening and got to see this pretty sunset!
We were both tired from work, but we try to go on walks when we can anyway.

Here's a picture of my brother Tim and his family, who Mother got to see while she was in MO.

Another Wednesday visiting friends! Eating lunch at the Arenders'.
After that I stopped by my friend Heidi's house to see her and her little siblings.
Carthage Holiness Campmeeting -- we got to go to 2 evening services there, which were both very good.
The Craters were the singers for the camp.Bro. Mike Avery was the preacher and shared God's word with us.
July 27, I got to go on a late afternoon bikeride with Jason and Karen at a near-by airport. There is a very nice 5-mile trail to bike or walk on. It was a very pleasant temperature, and good exercise!
Stopping along the trail for a water break!
The last Sunday of July, Jason and Karen came for Sunday dinner.
I worked full time at ChickfilA through the end of July, and then I'm not working at all in August because of a mission's trip and starting college, but I'll be coming back to CFA in September, working just a little bit a week. So, I had to say some goodbyes and take pictures since I was leaving for awhile. This is what I wrote on facebook about it on my last day:
Thankful for the past 22 months of working at Chick-fil-A! Today was a goodbye of sorts, because when I come back in September, I will be working much less due to going to GBSC.
It was hard to say goodbye, but at the same time I am excited for where God is leading me. I'm so thankful for my time here; I have truly learned and grown so much. I have been stretched and encouraged by the people I've worked with, and have done things that I never thought I could do. I love my Chick-fil-A family. I'm especially thankful to God for every day He brought me through. He gave me grace, strength, love, patience, wisdom every day, and helped me in so many ways.(My managers and me)
