Father's day, Friend day, and . . .

June 16 - Father's day . . . how glad and thankful I am to have a Daddy such as mine. He is wonderful, and he loves us.
My daddy and two of my four special brothers
 Daddy, Mother, Beth, and Jeffrey

Over the 13th-15th weekend, I/my business had a booth at the homeschool CHEC conference in Denver. I sold my cards there, and gave away a lot of business cards. I had so much business that I sold almost my entire stock. I was very thankful!
Mother and I waiting for the judge to come talk to me. I was nervous as I partly heard the questions he was asking the girl beside me.
Then it was my turn, and I answered the questions to the best of my ability! I didn't win the Youth Business Contest, but I was totally okay with that.

On June 18th, my mother and I went to Wyoming to see some special friends who we hadn't seen for a long time.  I am so thankful for the time I got to spend with my friend, Ivanna.
We went to a near-by culvert to sing.
The echo and sound of us singing in there was amazing. Part of the time I just closed my eyes and listened.
Later Ivanna and I went on a bikeride to a pond and took pictures there. . . and talked.

And while in Cheyenne, I got to see another friend, Amy, who I haven't seen for a very long time.
I was very thankful to get to spend so much time visiting my friends yesterday!

Leaving with you a promise of summer hopes!!

What's been going on around here --

On May 20th, some missionaries from South America came to meet/see us, the Dickinson family! We have read their blog for years and have wanted to meet them for so long. They are on deputation and were coming through our area, so we got to enjoy spending time with them for an evening.
Here is Jason, Kimberly, and I playing our instruments together. That was so much fun for us!

I was so excited to meet Kimberly, Sarah, and Mary, and really treasured my time with them, for they are very sweet girls that are serving God with their family!

Then the next morning, May 21st, we drove to Missouri to see my grandparents and oldest brothers and their families. We spent time with my 3 nephews and 1 niece going to parks, picnics, and going on walks, reading books, playing toys, taking pictures with, and giving hugs and kisses to. We spent a week there and were so glad for that time with them.

My dear friend, Joanna, who I've know for 7 years, because she is my sister-n-law's sister, was in MO while we were there. I was so glad to be able to spend time with her. Here we were walking with our nephews.

One day, Daddy and I, my sister-n-love, Joy, and her 3 boys and Joanna went on a hike and picnic in a woodsy area. We only got a few chiggers for the few hours spent there.

It was a wonderful week spent with the people we love so much!
Sorry for not blogging for so long! I will try to more often this summer. During the month of May, I was really busy finishing my school, doing achievement tests, and getting ready for having a booth at a homeschool conference to sell my photography, in June. I am now done with 9th grade forever, am ready for the conference, and am already started on my 'sitting job for the summer.
I will post again soon.
