I Will Be Your Shield

1. My child, are you discouraged, by the sorrows of the day?
Does it seem that life is crumbling? The skies have turned to gray.
Don't forget I gave you promises, to guide you every hour.
In the moments of your heart-break, let Me show you My great power!

Chorus: And I will be your Shield, when the battle rages on!
And I will be your Light, when the way ahead is dark.
I will be your Strong Tower, and guide you every hour,
Just place your life completely in My hands.

2. I know it won't be easy. I never said it would.
But My grace will always be there;
My plans for you are good.
Remember that your weaknesses, are perfect in My sight,
Only when your yield them to Me,
Can I turn them into Might!

Chorus: And I will be your Shield, when the battle rages on!
And I will be your Light, when the way ahead is dark.
I will be your Strong Tower, and guide you every hour,
Just place your life completely in My hands.

Bridge: And someday you will understand why I sent this trial.
And someday you will see the end, and know it's all worthwhile.

This is a song that we sing at Bright Lights Bible Study. It has been a huge encouragement to me, and I hope it can be to you as well. Love, Emily A.

My Book

Hey Everyone! Right after dinner, I put together a long post about our summer, and the computer deleted the whole thing!!! So, that made me really sad! I'm going to try to do a smaller post, before I get my courage up to do the summer post over again.
I really enjoy writing! (Even though I'm not too good at it) I'm working on my book My Heart's Cry right now, and I'm also starting another book. The Hidden Secret. For The Hidden Secret, my sister took some "old fashioned" pictures of me for the cover. (I make my own book covers, just for fun) :)
These are a few of the pictures Beth took of me.

This one is my favorite.

Welcome Luther Kaus!!

On Friday, the 2nd, Mother, Beth, and I were privileged to get to visit our friends, the Kauses, in the hospital, after the arrival of their son, Luther Lawrence. He arrived September 1st, 4:13 p.m. He was 9 pounds, 4 ounces, and 20 and a half inches long.
Another day, can't remember which day, we went to their house and got to hold their little bundle of joy. We already love him!
