February 2015

-Moments in my life during February-
An evening with family
Playing games with the nephews :)
Watching my niece Jewelyn clapping
Doing Algebra
Doing school with a friend :)
Gazing up at the clouds in awe - that's a favorite scene of mine right there.
Seeing a bird hiding in the branches
Going on walks around our nice, not-so-little-anymore town
Watching a beautiful sunset go down
Trying to see if and how my dad and his sister look alike
Praying for a friend on her 12th birthday
Grandpa taking a little nap while Jewelyn smirks at me
Matching my sister and sister-n-love one Sunday
Another gorgeous sunset - we've been having a lot of them lately. Maybe they are always there, we just get too busy to stop and notice the pictures God paints for us in the sky.
This picture and the following two happened in order that evening.  1.
2.
3.
Enjoying my 11th (one of my last) braces appointment - I hope to get them off within the next month!
My daddy making hamburgers for us on a Saturday evening
Another in-order sunset.  1.
2.
3.
A close up - can you tell that I love sunsets? :)
Working on sewing projects with our dear mother

Making Quillows (Quillows are a pillow and blanket put together) with Mother for Home Ec.
Sketching with colored pencils
Getting a bleeding-hearts sketch done for a friend :)
Having my little "siblings" with us sometimes - our family started babysitting Lincoln when he was 1, and he just turned 8.  :)
Lincoln's sister Hope making cards for Valentine's Day

Nephews being cute in their matching overalls
Coloring and playing games with my family another evening :)
Cutting, folding, 'picturing', stamping, 'enveloping' 500 cards to sell at the homeschool conference in June.

So far, I only have the cutting and folding done, and have a lot more to do. I am thankful for how God has helped me get that much done just this week. :)

Watching the snow come and go - we've been getting a lot of snowstorms this last week. Sometimes the snow doesn't build up very much though.
Making a miniature snowman and marking eyes and smile with chalk! :)

Watching my diligent mother as she works on a hard quilt pattern with perseverance.
Being encouraged as I see little bits of spring growing already
These moments pass away quickly, so let's try to enjoy each moment as they happen. :)
