June was filled with busyness -- seeing people, getting ready to move, house showings, working, etc.
June started with a short visit from Randy and Joy's family! Mother, Elizabeth, and I went to the mountains for a picnic with them. Here are my nephews and niece standing on a fallen log.
The kids loved walking on the logs that were scattered around.
Time to eat! It was so special to get to spend time with Randy and Joy's family! We miss them a lot since they've moved away to SD.
Early in June, we got a dumpster delivered so that we could more seriously throw things away as we sort through our house.

One day, Jason and I worked on all the wood that has been under our deck for years. We chopped some of the bigger stumps, and stacked it nicely.

One Sunday night we went to the Sacrifice of Praise Chorale, where we were surprised to meet Martha from Canada, a friend that we've heard about and seen pictures of, but never met before. It was really neat!
I also got to see my friend Ivanna at the chorale!

While working on cleaning out our garage, Jason and I found our old swords that we made to play with years ago. We got a picture, then threw them away.

June 9th, I spent part of the day with my friend, Jenny, and her son Fletcher. It was one last time to spend time together before their family moves to TX.
I had a special time with her. She is a really sweet friend, and will be missed!
After the time with Jenny, I went to Bright Lights, probably the last one I'll get to go to, because of our teacher Bethany going on a mission's trip to Romania! At B.L., we made a pizza together, ate, visited...
... and glued flowers to hair clips for Bethany to use on girls in Romania.
One night, Daddy and Elizabeth started working on the deck project to make it more safe, and sell-able. They added some boards, then put lattice work up.
So now it looks like this!
Two Saturdays now, we've tried to sell things by doing a garage sale.

June 18th, I spent the night and part of the day with my friend Natalie and her family. We went four-wheeling, had great talks, and made some memories. :)

That evening our family went to the 2016 Walker Hymn Sing! This tractor trailer picks people up by the vehicles and drives them across the field to where the singing takes place.
Daddy and Mother are under the yellow umbrella, and Elizabeth under the spotted one. The umbrellas were for the bright sun, not for rain. Thankfully there was no rain this year, and it was a clear, bright, beautiful evening!
We saw our friends the Vanderfords and Heppners there.

June 19 - Father's Day!
One evening we went to the lake and walked around while a showing was going on at our house.

June 24th, I went to Cheyenne, WY to spend some time with my friend Ivanna. We and some others went to Curt Gowdy State Park to go craw-daddying. The drive there had gorgeous scenes!

Craw-daddying was really fun to watch. I mainly just watched the others catch them, but I did finally catch one, just so I'd know what it was like. It was a beautiful night.
After they got done catching them, we went to a campsite and got them ready to be eaten. It was a really interesting, educational, and fun night.
I'm thankful for the time I got to spend with Ivanna. We talked, sang, and prayed together.
June 16th-June 28th (with Sundays and a few other days excluded) I worked for the Weld County election. This was our original team that I enjoyed working with.
Mother also worked for election, but at a different location. She has worked election for many years, thus all the pins!
On the 27th, Jason and I headed toward Colorado Springs for a graduation party for some friends of ours. On the way, the A/C wasn't working right, and the only air coming out was very hot. While driving, Jason got very sleepy. He pulled over on an exit ramp, and we switched drivers. When we started onto the entrance ramp, the car started making an awful noise! So we pulled over again, and we got out to evaluate what was going on.
Pretty soon, an E-470 Roadside Assistance guy pulled up behind us. He asked what was going on and if he could help. He looked at our car with Jason, then visited with me while Jason called AAA. We found out that that guy knows/lives near/goes to church with the young man that boarded with us for over a year back in 2013+2014! The guy prayed with Jason and I before he left. It was so neat!
Jason and I ended up walking a ways and getting a bite to eat, then coming back to meet the tow-truck. Then we waited at a gas-station for Daddy and Elizabeth to come get us. They were going to be coming to Denver anyway, for a baby shower that night. God's timing was amazing!
We were so thankful that God made Jason sleepy so that we'd be off the highway when all this happened! We thank the Lord for His protection and perfect timing!

On the 29th I had a full Wednesday. Violin lesson, picnic with my friend Natalie in a park, then sign language time with my ASL teacher, Mrs. Stratman.

On the 30th, we watched a guy take away our dumpster, which has been so helpful in our moving process!

Also on the 30th, I spent time with my friends Natalie and Esther, at Natalie's home. We roasted hot-dogs and had a picnic.
Then we sat over the canal and put our feet in the water. :)

We cut the tops off our oranges, ate the fruit out, filled the empty oranges with brownie mixture, then baked the "orange-brownies" in the coals from the fire.
