Hope y'all had a lovely August! I enjoyed coming back home from my internship in TN (previous post) the first week in August. I was so thankful for 2.5 weeks to rest and recuperate before college started again.

I enjoyed snapping pics of these Surprise Lilies in our neighborhood.
One evening I drew this sketch for my mother's birthday, of her and my niece Mandylyn at Christmastime.
More pretty flowers in our neighborhood.

Another evening when I was hanging out with Brittany, we happened to see these plastic bowls, that match our eye-colors, but you can't tell that in this picture! :D

I enjoyed going to Comargo Camp several days. Bro. Marc Sankey preached some good messages!

Waiting for mealtime in the dining hall.
We first went to a cafe` inside a market and met our friend Autumn there for lunch!

Then Autumn, Elizabeth, and I rented bikes for a lovely bikeride together while my parents did a carriage ride in town.

We stopped to take pictures along the trail.
We rode for ~2 hours (including photo stops).

We stayed at a nice little motel.

The next day we went to one of the largest flea markets in the world.
We went to several Amish stores.

We also got to do a "dinner theater".
Dinner before the musical.
We ended the day with time by a lake as the sun went down. We read and played some games.
So thankful Elizabeth got to come on this trip with us!
Last thing before getting back to the motel we got yummy icecream from a road stand.
The next day we walked around several pretty places and stopped at a couple other stores to look around.

Lunch at the road stand before we headed back home on the 3rd day. It was such a blessing to do this trip with my family! <3

On the 13th, Brittany and I went to "our" Chick-fil-A to see our former coworkers and get breakfast.
Then she took me to the Cincinnati Zoo. It was my 1st time to go since moving from CO 6 years ago!
We had a lovely day together!
August 16, I helped new GBS students move in!
There were several from our church there to welcome students and help with move-in! These boys worked very hard too!
Sweet, sweet people!
That evening I took my friend Clarissa to CFA for supper to catch-up, then we walked along the riverfront and across the river.
It was a beautiful evening!
We found beautiful flowers at Smale Riverfront Park.
Sunset while walking across one of the bridges.
A few days later, we had another opportunity to go back to Smale, taking some more friends with us. I'm thankful for the few days before school starts to spend time with people before the homework snows us under.
We love the swings along the riverfront.
One Saturday our church hosted a babyshower for Kate Loper.
The cutest guests present.
Watching Kate open gifts.
My friend from TN spent a night with us while traveling through. I so enjoyed visiting with Kayla!
Convocation Sunday at GBS - ready to start my last semester at GBS! I'm a 2nd yr. senior.
SWSE on Monday morning! I'm starting my 6th year being part of SWSE (because I did SWSE a whole year before starting college).
Coffee and catch-up time with my sweet friend, Jenny!
We tried this new coffee shop near GBS.
Studying is underway in the library!
My brother and his wife, Jeffrey and Lesa, came out for a week to visit us and help Daddy with remodeling a bathroom.

Lesa's and my Saturday trip to Velocity! We sat outside to enjoy our chai and play a couple games of Jotto (a word game), because Lesa's dog was along.
Chapel with friends!
Studying outside with friends.
Class time with friends.August 26th was the DPS Division Activity, which was a fun picnic at Devou Park.
There was a pretty good turnout.
My friend Clarissa and I under a pretty arbor.
We did a scavenger hunt which required a lot of walking over the large park.
Sunday in Jr. church (these are some of the kids we pick up in the community)
The kids are getting to experience Jerusalem, 4 tribes getting to travel to different stations and learn things there, every week. "Food Market"

A few pictures before Jeffrey, Lesa, and their dog Preston left.
So thankful for the time with them!
