May has been an wonderful, interesting, and busy kind of month, bringing many changes. A lot happened, so I have a lot of pictures to share! :)

We found some beautiful lilacs to stand by on a Sunday afternoon walk around town.
On Friday, May 13th, we were getting ready for my graduation that evening and the party the next day, when my 2nd brother Tim and his family showed up and surprised me!!! They had driven during the night from Missouri, and showed up for lunch. I was very surprised and glad!

During the night that night, my oldest brother Randy and his family got to our house, so the next morning, there were lots of hugs and hellos.

47 people came to my graduation celebration, and it was a special time! Thank you to everyone who came and made me feel special! Randy served the brownies and ice-cream for us. I got a picture with everyone who came.

The next day, our Albertson clan went to Federal Heights for church (where Randy and Joy lived before they moved to SD). While some people went to pick up kids for church, Aunt Elizabeth read to the nephews and nieces.

Almost 3 months old!
Monday, Jonathan and Jewelyn stayed at our house while the others were busy. Here, Grandma had just gotten done cutting bread, and they got a sample! I remember when I was little, when I would hear the bread cutter going, I would run upstairs, watch my mother cut the bread and get sample from her, just like these kiddos did.
On Wednesday, May 18th, my parents and I drove to Iowa, on our way to God's Bible School and College in Ohio. We got to see Jeffrey's fiance` and her family, then we spent the night with Jeffrey.

Mother also gave them the quilt that she made for them, and they loved it too. Jeffrey is holding the pillow that goes with it, in this picture.
The next day we drove to Cincinnati, Ohio.
And we arrived at GBSC in time for supper.

After supper, we visited awhile outside.
On the 20th, we spent most of the day looking at houses in Kentucky. We found this one, and Lord willing, we will be moving here in August! This house is only 16 minutes drive from GBS, so that will be a blessing!

Saturday was graduation day at GBS. Jason's girlfriend Karen, graduated with highest honors. She was also the salutatorian!
My dear Uncle Ron and Aunt Becky (whom I hadn't seen for many years) and Mother before graduation started. It was so good to see my aunt and uncle again!!

On Monday, we started for home, taking Jason with us to be home for the summer. Around supper time, the interstate we were on suddenly came to a stop because of an accident ahead. We waited at least a half hour, and then got to go again.
It was a beautiful evening to be waiting on the interstate! :)
That night after midnight we got to Tim and Brenda's in MO and slept there. Tuesday morning, Jason got to meet Felix, and we got to spend a little time with Brenda and the kids, then a little time with my grandparents, before heading on to CO that day.

We got home safely on Tuesday night after many miles traveled! Thank the Lord! We saw lots of people and did a lot during our week-long trip.
We came back to our own poppies blooming!
After being in the east where they have lots of green trees, but no mountains, our Colorado mountains looked even more beautiful to us!
Since our trip we have been working on little and big projects.

I had a violin recital with my teacher, Mrs. Ong, at a nursing home in Greeley.

On Memorial Day, we started a painting project. Elizabeth's room, which has been green for years, is getting painted to an off-white.
We aren't finished with it yet, so we don't have an "after" picture.
