Hello and Happy Hot Summer to y'all! We've been having a very warm and humid July here in Kentucky. It's been a busy month for us as I prepare to move to Oklahoma in a few days for starting a job at Happy Hands Education Center (a Christian Deaf school). There's been lots of moments to soak up with dear people in my life, lasts to do, and goodbyes said.
During the 7 years of living in KY, God has filled my life with many blessings and rich friendships. I'm so thankful.
My friend Brittany and I matching on 4th of July Sunday.

The Harms over for Sunday dinner and the afternoon on July 2.During the 7 years of living in KY, God has filled my life with many blessings and rich friendships. I'm so thankful.

Playing a game is more fun under a table made into a tent!
On the 4th of July, I got to go hiking at Red River Gorge with sweet friends, Felicia and Allison.
We hiked 3 shorter trails, instead of 1 long one, which made the heat easier to tolerate.
During our picnic, it started to rain, so we popped up our umbrellas and it was perfect! :)
My mother made me a beautiful quilt for my new home!

She loves piecing the quilts she makes, but she has so much fun with the actual quilting of them too. It's very relaxing to her.

July 11 I tagged along with the Harms for a fun adventure at East Fork State Park!
It was a perfect day for swimming and picnicking!
Swimming at the Wilsons' with the Harms kids too.
I got to meet my sweet friend, Kimberly, for tea at Carabellos! We had such a sweet time catching up and saying goodbye.
I stopped by GBS to see some friends who were participating in Band Camp that week.
I repainted a mirror frame, bed frame, and chest that I bought from friends, for my new home.
July 15, Brittany and I had an exploring day in old downtown of Lexington.
We had a fun day together and made more memories. :)
Saturday evening I got to help Felicia set up for the new theme of Jr. church.
Kari helped us too. :)
Sunday morning, diving into the new theme!
At the close of Jr. church, the leaders and children had a special surprise for me. Each one gave me a flower and a hug, and overwhelmed me with their sweetness. I love these kids so much and have been blessed to be a part of their lives on Sundays for the last several years.
Sunday evening service - thru July several others have been bringing their instruments and playing for the song service! :)That evening, there was also a baptism service, followed by a time of fellowship and saying goodbye to several people who are moving away for ministry.
Signing notes for the people leaving.
My dad has been so sweet to fix things up for me and help me with projects to get ready to move.
July 18, these friends and I had a little tea party and Anne of Green Gables movie time.
Walking with Pam one last time at Idlewild.
We used Graeters giftcards one evening for some yummy icecream!

July 22, I met up with my dear friend Ivanna and her husband in Cambridge, OH (3 hr drive for us both) and we spent a few hours together.

July 23 Sunday dinner guests, Chandler and Melissa.
The Strouds singing a special song at church.
Time with Melissa at Carabellos one afternoon.
An evening with dear Jenny - we had a Chick-fil-A picnic, then walked at Eden Park.
A fun (and HOT) morning of Putt-Putt with the Harms.
July 28 was my last day (again) and goodbyes to all my coworkers and bosses.
An evening with my friend Rebecca - we started off with Skyline Chili...
... then went walking and exploring on the riverfront.
Our neighbor's beautiful Rose of Sharon bush.
