Easter Sunday
My nephews, niece, and I <3
Spring has arrived!! The blossoms and flowers have been so beautiful to enjoy and take pictures of.
One night we had to move all our furniture out on the deck to get our carpets cleaned the next day. We got everything covered up right before it started to rain!
Daddy and Elizabeth - using the couch-lifting-straps for a new purpose.
But they work for this lots better... :)
I got to go snowshoeing with some friends of ours, the Heppners. We went to Bear Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park, and had a wonderful, beautiful day hiking in our snowshoes.
God's beautiful creation!
My parents came up with a plan about our front yard, and then we did it. The plan was to extend our flower garden to include our tree trunk. First, we got edging and laid it where we wanted it to be.
Then we dug all the grass out in that area . . .
Then we got dirt and filled it in . . .
Then, we planted flowers in it. Bulbs, seeds, and plants.
Our lilacs have been so beautiful this spring, which I've been so thankful for because the past couple of springs they froze before they could open.
My dear mother, reading on the front swing, enjoying an evening.Joanna and I did a little photo-shoot one day, with the lilacs as our back-round.
A rainy day . . .
It rained a lot in 1 day (for Colorado)!
We had some friends over, the Durkees, for part of a day. We enjoyed their kids!
A sweet moment between my mother and nephew one Sunday afternoon.
Grandpa reading to Quil and Micah
My niece Jewelyn, grinning :)
A fast sketch that I did for a card.
April 23rd, we planted our garden. We new it was pretty early to do it, but it was the day that worked for us and that the almanac said was a good planting day, so we did it, and hope and pray that the plants will come up well!
Mother planting flowers around the edge.
Elizabeth planting cucumbers.
Daddy cutting off the end of the fencing.
April 26th was Jewelyn's 1st birthday!
She is a very sweet baby, and is growing up way too fast!
Excited about her cake!
She loved tasting cake and icecream for the first time!
A sweet picture of Jewelyn and her mommy and daddy <3
My dad got our waterfall started for the summer!
April 28th, I got the last of all the 500 pictures onto cards for the CHEC conference in June!
Then I started stamping the back of each of them and packaging them up. ~50 sets~
I got them all totally finished, which I am very glad about, but I don't have a picture yet of the finished product.
Another spring picture~
My mother diligently hand-sewing on a quilt.
At BRIGHT Lights Bible Study, I got a picture of our group. We were only missing one girl, Esther. Bethany, on the very left, is our B.L. teacher.
Joanna and I with our most recent sewing project - pillows. :)
Poppies, ready to pop open!!
The last Wednesday in April, Mother and I visited our friend, Gayle, and we had a nice time with her.
