A wonderful message!

Yesterday morning's church service was really good, but especially the sermon was.
If you have a half an hour that you could listen to this, I'm sure it'd be a huge blessing to you, as it was to me. Just click on this link, and go to 35 minutes into it, for the sermon. I'd really encourage you to listen to it!

Catching up a bit!

This week, my older brother Jeffrey, has been home for spring break! It's been great to have him home for awhile!
On Wednesday, Jason and Beth were off work, and Jeffrey was home, so we went to the mountains for a picnic. We were babysitting a little boy named Lincoln at the time, so he got to go with us. We had a picnic and then hiked for awhile. It was perfect temperature and delightful spring weather!

This picture was to prove that I AM taller than Mother now. Her hair is fluffy, but I really am taller! :D

I am so thankful that we still have Mother, and that she is getting better and better every day and that her hair is growing!
In the back-round you can see the little bits of snow that were still there, even though it was warm weather.
A pretty daffodil in our yard.
Our neighbor's beautiful crab-apple tree!  It's really an early spring here. Everything is popping out and we don't usually any of that until nearly May!
I love taking pictures of it!
A squirrel caught in his tracks! He had just been eating from our bird-feeder. When I was taking this picture, he was frozen with fear. He's kinda cute, I say!

Jesus Is All I Need!

Here's another really good song! Jesus is all that I need!

When I am burdened, or weary, or sad, Jesus is all I need. Never He fails to uplift and make glad. Jesus is all I need.

All that I need, He will always be, All that I need till His face I see, All that I need through eternity. Jesus is all I need.

When I am tempted and fear I may fall, Jesus is all I need. He never fails to respond to my call. Jesus is all I need.

When I am swept by the tempests of life, Jesus is all I need. Peace He imparts, whatsoever the strife. Jesus is all I need.

When through the valley He calls me to go, Jesus is all I need. He will be with me to cheer me on, I know. Jesus is all I need.

All that I need, He will always be, All that I need till His face I see, All that I need through eternity. Jesus is all I need.

Take My Life and Let It Be!

This morning in church we sang this song, and I knew I needed to put it on my blog, because the words are so good!! Think about them as you read them! It needs to be the prayer of our hearts!!

Take my life, and let it be consecrated, Lord, to Thee.
Take my moments and my days; let them flow in ceaseless praise, let them flow in ceaseless praise.

Take my hands, and let them move at the impulse of Thy love. Take my feet, and let them be swift and beautiful for Thee, swift and beautiful for Thee.

Take my voice, and let me sing always, only, for my King.

Take my lips, and let them be filled with messages from Thee, filled with messages from Thee.

Take my silver and my gold; not a mite would I withhold.

Take my intellect, and use every power as Thou shalt choose, every power as Thou shalt choose.

Take my will, and make it Thine; it shall be no longer mine.

Take my heart, it is Thine own; it shall be Thy royal throne, it shall be Thy royal throne.

Take my love, my Lord, I pour at Thy feet its treasure store.

Take myself, and I will be ever, only, all for Thee, ever, only, all for Thee.
