I can hardly believe May is already over! Christmas will be here before you know it!
May started out with Ladies Bible Study at the Stroud's home, which begins with a meal together.
We ate outside on the patio to enjoy the beautiful evening.
We had a nice sized group that evening.

On May 2nd, Elizabeth and I were especially enjoying the spring flowers, so we took some photos.

May 3 was National Day of Prayer, which GBS's choir and orchestra normally takes part in. The people in charge knew there was a chance of rain, but decided we had to chance it anyway.
We got to the Courthouse steps and got set up.
And it was a beautiful day...
But then the storm clouds, wind, and rain started coming very quickly, so we tore down and tried to get everything loaded up before it started raining.
Some of us fled to shelter of the building, while other brave souls stayed to get everything loaded on the trailer while it began to rain.
We might've gotten a bit wet, but we made memories!
On May 6 we had a babyshower at Chick-fil-A for one of the managers and his wife.
We were glad several of the co-workers were able to join us in celebrating with the Adams family!
While Elizabeth and I were at the babyshower, Daddy and Mother went on a walk at Eden Park.
May 8 was the last Sisters Meeting until after summer. We had pizza at LaRosa's and did lots of visiting!

May 9 - I met our friends in the park for a picnic and play-time!

That evening at church, little Karilee had a hard time staying out of the cooler that is collecting candy for the Memorial day parade!
After the service there is a celebration for Wilson Stroud, who graduated from kindergarten!
Mother finished the quilt she's been making for our friend in Colorado, Faith Brown.

May 13 - Mother's Day!

For Sunday dinner that day we had Kendra, Anna, Danette, and the Witt kids because Elizabeth was babysitting them over the weekend.

May 15 was Symphonic Wind and String Ensemble's concert - Evening With SWSE -

Much of that week we were at GBS for the Commissioning services.
One evening our friend Merilee Barnard arrived because she was graduating that weekend. She's been attending GBS online.
The service on May 16 was a baptism and candle light service. I was over-joyed to get baptized too!
May 18 started out with an early morning walk/run along the Ohio Riverfront with friends. We stopped to enjoy the swings at Smale Park for just a couple of minutes.
It was such a fun hour with these ladies.
Then my carload went to Starbucks for some coffee and visiting time!

Sunday, May 20 - Diane and Kaden Asbell came for dinner and the afternoon.

I'm so thankful the Lord worked in out that I could go before going to work that day.
